This is an 11 x 14 acrylic painting of just having some fun with a winter scene and 4 colorful pine trees. This was probably the second landscape type painting I did after I started up acrylic painting again last year. I have been working with new techniques with different size paint brushes and trying new things. It’s unique in its own way, every painting is. I like trying different things with acrylic paintings and its all a learning experience as I go but I want to share the things that I make.
I chose to do an american type them for this picture frame. And the pour turned out really cool for this. The measurements are as accurate as I could get them, from side to side not from the middle. The picture frame is held up by a small wooden peg.
This is a canvas panel painting. I used fire colors, red, orange and yellow. A very warm painting. I used the fan brush swirling the paint in different directions until I was happy with how it turned out. A burst of color for any room of your liking.
